Venue : MY CO2 Laboratory in Taman Kikik, Prai, Butterworth.
35 selected form-six top students and teachers of SMJK Chung Ling Butterworth visited the laboratory for FREE as part of a corporate social responsibility initiative under S.H.E. Alliance (collaboration of three companies, MY CO2 Sdn Bhd, Safetyware Sdn Bhd and VA Partners).
All participants were provided and dressed in full laboratory clothing equipment – lab coat, hairnet, face mask, gloves and shoe covers during the tour which further enhanced safety and the learning experience.
Participants have tried hands-on in conducting various laboratory analytical tests besides obtaining in-depth understanding on the working and operation of a real top-class laboratory in the industry.
There is a Laboratory Safety & Hygiene Talk and safety equipment demonstration by Safetyware Sdn Bhd with the aimed to create workplace safety awareness among pre-working adults.
Last but not least, there is a motivational talk presented by VA Partners Consultancy Company for participants.
